Each volume of Acta Historica contains thematically related articles. Once a topic is approved by the Editorial Team, one of the editors issues a call for submissions. Therefore, all manuscripts are directly submitted to the editor(s) of the corresponding volume. He or she is responsible for informing authors about a successful submission.
After the deadline for submissions has passed, the Editorial Team will initiate a double-blind peer review process.
