Straipsnyje aptariami tamsiojo ir darniojo turizmo aspektai, atskleidžiamos tamsiojo turizmo lankytojų patirtys darniojo turizmo kontekste. Pristatomas tyrimas, kurį atliekant analizuotos Šaltojo karo muziejaus, kuris įsikūręs Žemaitijos nacionaliniame parke, lankytojų patirtys. Tyrimo duomenų analizei pasirinkta teminė analizė, kuri yra lanksti, neribojama konkrečių teorijų ar sistemų. Temine analize siekta atskleisti Žemaitijos nacionalinio parko Šaltojo karo muziejaus lankytojų patirtis, analizuojant „TripAdvisor“ lankytojų atsiliepimus apie Žemaitijos nacionalinio parko ir Šaltojo karo muziejaus lankymo patirtis. Teminė analizė padėjo atskleisti dvylika temų, susietų į tris temines grupes, pavadintas „Tarp erdvės ir unikalumo“, „Tarp istorijos ir patirties“, „Tarp tamsiojo ir darniojo turizmo“. Atliktas tyrimas atskleidė, kad ateityje plėtojant Žemaitijos nacionalinio parko Šaltojo karo ekspoziciją pravartu atkreipti dėmesį į unikalias lankytojų patirtis, Žemaitijos nacionalinio parko vystymą kreipiančias glaudesnės tamsiojo ir darniojo turizmo sąveikos link.
In the condition of demographic issues in Europe and competition for specialist between public and private sector on the labour market public organisations’ as employers’ image is an important aspect of development. The research aim is to identify principles of Employer Branding (EB) and ways public organisations can organize and develop employees’ education on this topic. There are EB activities examined in ten socially responsible (SR) organisations from public sector in Latvia. Authors prepare theoretical bases for the research analysing scientific literature to explain the main point of the approaches framework and define the main terms in depth implementing qualitative and quantitative research methods. In the result proposals for the EB training development for public organisations were developed. Training programs on EB for the public sector organisations should consist of blocks connected to marketing and HRM. Managers should decide whom to train and why and develop different training tracks for each employees level. Training should be implemented periodically reflecting on the changes in external and internal organisational environment.
Recently, the most intensive processes related to international trade and movement of population are between the countries and regions that have elaborated models of international cooperation. The intensity of movement depends on inter-governmental agreements and the level of developed transport systems. The synchronized and plannified transport systems ensure the movement of trends of population and trade. This mentioned movement leads towards the studies of transport geography and its object of research. Significant input in transport geography researches were accomplished by prof. Jean Paul Rodrigue, who researched different systems in transport geography, logistics and the territorial distribution of transportation of consignments (Hesse, Rodrigue, 2004). J. P. Rodrigue (2009) argued that changes in transport geography depend on social economic changes in society. The studies of international transportation of the consignments require complex approach of researchers and scientists.
The aim of the article is to prove the positive impact of education on work salary. For this purpose, the main task of the article is toestimate the Mincer rate of return by taking several factors into account. A secondary task of the research is to analyze the results of2010 and 2011 and to find explanations for the significant differences between the two years. The results of research and a detailedanalysis of the labour market indicate a positive return from attainment of education at an individual level, and they strengthen thehypothesis about a correlation among higher education attainment, higher employment levels and welfare. So far, the Mincer rate ofreturn has not been widely used in Latvia.

Šiuolaikiniame technologijų amžiuje individo naujas patirties lygmuo siejamas su virtualiai realistine patirtimi, tampant virtualiai realistinės visuomenės nariu. Socialinių medijų pozicija socializacijos tarpsnių kontekste apima pirminės ir antrinės socializacijos periodus. Socialinių medijų poveikis individų socializacijos procese integruojasi su pagrindinių socializacijos veiksnių (šeimos, mokyklos, bendraamžių grupės) funkcijomis ir įtakomis. Socialinių medijų funkcijos individo socializacijos procese siejamos su komunikaciniais pažintiniais ir socialiniais kūrybiniais individo gebėjimais bei įgūdžiais. Socialinės medijos individų socializacijos procesus gali veikti tiek teigiamai, tiek ir neigiamai.
Globalization process has a gradually stronger influence on economic development. In this new reality the main indicator is innovation. Various regions of European Union formulate Regional Innovation Strategies (RIS). The goal of this document is to formulate essential elements of regional development strategy. This kind of strategy was created for the Mazovia region. In the document we can read that Mazovia is the most innovative region in Poland, however, it is still far behind regions in highly developed countries. The main strength of Mazovia is the fact that it is a capital region, which means a better access for enterprises to information, important contacts and promotion. Nevertheless, we still can experience many barriers, undermining regular regional development, such as insufficient grants for scientific research or inadequate engagement of public administration to help entrepreneurs.

Hemp is a very valuable plant because each part of it can be used in many ways. It can be used to produce innovative products for building construction, chemical industry, medicine, textile production, consumption, and agriculture. In the article, the authors have aggregated the information about hemp cultivation and processing sector development in the European Union and Latvia and have described its cultivation possibilities, technological processes, and processing capabilities. The aim of the present article was to reveal the topicalities of hemp industry development in the European Union and Latvia. The tasks of the research were to present an overall description of hemp industry development trends in the European Union and to characterize hemp industry development in Latvia focusing on the national support activities and hemp cultivation and processing opportunities. The authors of the article have performed an extensive secondary data analysis to summarize the most important activities that should be done at the national scale to further enhance the development of hemp industry in Latvia.
The purpose of this article is to investigate the mechanisms contributing to increasing of the efficiency of the institutions andinstruments ensuring the innovative development of Russia, increasing of its competitiveness in terms of accession to the WTOand the OECD. The article considers factors, negatively influencing on the innovative development of Russia. In the article wasconducted comparative analysis of expenditure on R&D in the different countries, analysis of modern methods and tools of statesupport of innovative development. A complex of additional measures aimed at enhancing the innovative activity of the businesssector and the measures of state support of innovative development in Russia are proposed.
