The first journal „Regional Formation and Development Studies“ number was published in 2012. This is a continuing „Human resources- the main factor of regional development“ journal printed in 2007-2011 years. This journal is serving as a platform to foster different social sciences to meet here. The articles can cover management, economics, social geography, public administration, political sciences and etc. to share scientists’ findings in regional development. Each article is reviewed by two reviewers. The review process double-blind. The journal is printed three times per year in Lithuanian and English languages.

„Regional Formation and Development Studies“ is a double-blind pre-review scientific journal. Accepted papers present outcomes of findings across all fields of social sciences. Multi/interdisciplinary approach is encouraged. This journal publishes original research papers that are presenting innovative solutions to regional or socio-economic and socio-technical problems that create modern societies. It is a journal that is positioned as collaborative platform where theory meets practice.

We invited you and your colleagues to send papers to the scientific journal “Regional Formation and Development Studies” published by Klaipeda University. Thematic remains an important scientific and practical direction – problems of regional development. The important directions in regional development are – social, managerial, economical, development problems, sustainability. Each article is reviewed by two researchers.
