Abstract

The authors research areas this time very interdisciplinary, covering the different approach of social science. In some papers are analyzed seaports. J. Bogatova paper analyzed seaports’ economic evaluation model; in D. Umantaitė-Vaivadienė, A. Batuchina paper is analyzed need of labor migrants in seaport; P. Vėlius, E. Spiriajevas analyzed factors of economic geographic competitiveness of the Klaipeda seaport in the context of the Eastern Baltic seaports. Some different view about regions are describe in papers. About institutional discourse on gender equality by L. Kraujutaityė, T. Jurkevičiūtė. Challenges to childhood social security in the welfare state project by A. Bučinskas, A. Sakalauskaitė; abolishment of the administration of the county governor: dimension of public participation by R. Riekašius, E. Stumbraitė-Vilkišienė; the place of Lithuania in Europe in context of civilization and regions by V. Šimanskis, L. Šimanskienė; features of socio-economic development of Kaliningrad oblast by J. Žukas and the application of pluralistic territorial development paradigm in assessment of territorial state of development by J. Lonska. Some important aspects of organizations are analyzed in J. Paužuolienė paper where she evaluated corporate social responsible organizations; A. Petrulis analyzed leadership attributions. Innovations and entrepreneurship are analyzed by E. Župerkienė, A. Župerka, A. Austienė paper, where they analyzed factors of innovation inculcation in the hotel business; A. Giedraitis, J. Kasnauskė analyzed entrepreneurship’s atmosphere for establishing of start up’s; J. Melnikova, J. Zaščerinska analyzed integration of entrepreneurship into higher education and innovative view how to teach genocide in the school course of history by D. Desiatov. We are starting to print books reviews. The first book review for book “Small States in a Global Economy: Crisis, Cooperation and Contributions” written by professor Hilmar Þór Hilmarsson by scientist from India Dr. Sujit Kumar. We invited and other authors to spread ideas about read books in social science area. We wish you a pleasant reading.
