The research aim is to identify the key factors influencing patient engagement and, after analysing strategies for patient engagement used worldwide, to assess their suitability for involving patients in the Ga East Municipality, Ghana. Employing a qualitative desk review approach, the study examined existing literature. It analysed global patient engagement frameworks across 20 studies conducted over the last ten years, based on the subcategories of trust, education, leadership and shared understanding. While the review highlighted several implications for health outcomes and patient satisfaction related to patient engagement, it also revealed that various
factors, including low National Health Insurance Scheme enrolment, poor communication methods, gender inequities and trust issues, drive patient engagement. The article illustrated that educated, supported and engaged patients in decision-making adhered to treatment recommendations more frequently and expressed greater satisfaction with their care. A review of international frameworks revealed a range of strategies employed globally to enhance patient engagement.
Banks and insurers as part of financial service industry engage in partnership under the concept of Bancassurance. Several studies are done on this topic, focusing on economies of scale and performance of most Bancassurance common models. Aim of this research is to analyse – how market environment factors influence the development of Bancassurance in Latvia. The current paper is focused on the Latvian market where several Bancassurance models are present as we test our propositions by interviewing management representatives of major stakeholders and analysing secondary market data. Main research findings – motives of banks and insurance companies in Latvia for implementing Bancassurance are in correspondence with the academia: new clients and additional revenue for insurers, improvements of customer service and loyalty for banks. Study results highlight the great impact of economic growth and technological development on Bancassurance over other market-based factors and reflect the importance of their integration for achieving better results in each model.
Higher education export is gaining more and more importance taking into account international competition, the benefits offered by the industry and demographic changes in many countries – the number of local students is reducing due to low birth rates and extensive emigration of young people. There are many academic publications on several aspects related to higher education export. The aim of research is to analyse foreign students’ evaluation on the importance of different organisations’ (universities, agencies dealing with higher education export, ministries) webpage content and design for higher education export. Research methods used: scientific literature review analysis, evaluation of webpages by experts, survey of foreign students (using the evaluation scale from 1 to 10, where 1 means ‘do not agree’, and 10 – ‘fully agree’). Data obtained from the foreign student survey are analysed by indicators of descriptive statistics (arithmetic mean, mode, median, range, standard deviations, standard error of mean), cross-tabulations, correlation analysis and factor analysis. The obtained research results have indicated narrow places and challenges for the information placed in respective webpages and webpage design which could be practically implemented.

Iššūkis, kurį siekiama paversti unikalia galimybe, yra Europos žalioji kryptis. ES ir jos piliečiai prioritetą teikia regioninėms ir vietos maisto sistemoms, trumposioms maisto tiekimo grandinėms, kurios sudaro galimybes puoselėti sveikesnę gyvenseną ir stiprinti vietos ekonomiką. Tyrimo tikslas – apibrėžti, kaip organizuojama vietos maisto sistema ir nustatyti tuo suinteresuotus veikėjus Raseinių rajone. Atliekant tyrimą išanalizuota vietos maisto sistemos termino raida sudarė prielaidas apibrėžti vietos maisto sistemos organizavimą, nustatyti ir išanalizuoti suinteresuotųjų elgsenos veiksnius. Atliekant tyrimą išanalizuoti užsienio ir Lietuvos mokslininkų tyrimų rezultatai, dokumentai, atliktas empirinis tyrimas. Nustatyta, kad suinteresuotieji vietos maisto sistema yra labai įvairūs: namų ūkiai, žemės ūkio ir maisto produktų gamintojai, darželiai, mokyklos, ligoninės, kavinės, turgavietės, „Maisto bankas“, maisto perdirbimo įmonės, bendruomeninės organizacijos, turizmo centrai, ūkininkus telkiančios organizacijos, visuomenės sveikatos biurai, rajonų savivaldybės administracijos. Vietos maisto sistemoje galima skirti keturias potencialias suinteresuotųjų bendradarbiavimo sritis: bendradarbiavimas stengiantis pasiekti išteklius ir jais dalintis; stengiantis pagerinti organizavimo operacijas; palaikyti santykius su vartotojais; siekiant ūkių tvarumo ir atsparumo išoriniams pokyčiams.
